It's like saying that they should keep 1st opening in 2nd half of the series because "it advertises the mid-season cure and the toys". So what if they're "advertisements", they're advertising something that is a major part of a series. Which is why I prefer watching TV versions, they keep the original openings/endings. I know for a fact that Toei was responsible for spelling Latte 'Rate' and Byogens 'Byo-gens' in Healin' Good, at least.
More to the point, the movies don't get released here, so what would be the point in including them anyways, they'd just be promoting something you can't legally watch outside of Japan.Īnd you can't blame CR for the name translations, Toei is notorious for being hard to deal with and controlling over their translations and I just about guarantee that all the name translations came direct from Toei themselves. This is like complaining that they cut out the sponsor cards that says that Precure is sponsored by Bandai and some other companies like McDonald's or whatever. There's a reason why the DVD/BD releases of Precure seasons replace the movie preview OPs and EDs with the standard ones because they're no longer advertising the movie when they get released on home video. Who gives a shit? Those are literally just advertisements, that's all they are.
